Complicated Excel Question

I recently deleted Factset from my computer, but now everytime i start excel it gives me the following error msg.

c:\factset\xfiles\fdsxl32.xll could not be found. check the spelling of the file name and verify that the file location is correct.

Can some help me get rid of this error msg.

Do you have the original program disks? Can you delete the program and reinstall it?
 
its looks for .xll, a part of the programme required to load the link between Ecxel and the information source
had this last week with Reuters, needed to reinstall the .xll program
 
Assuming you don't want FactSet on your computer anymore (that's why you deleted it, right?), go to ----> Tools > Add-Ins... Remove the checkmark from any Add-ins named FactSet. Hope this helps.
