Software developer - should I get CFA?

Will somebody please put up a big F*cking sign in Bangalooru already that the finance industry is shrinking!!?!?!?!!?!?!?

Not CFA, but FRM will definitely help you, if you are planning to break into development teams at IBs, they pay better than Google.. not a bad deal!
 
I am a FRM and wonder if anyone can share his/her sample IT work experience descriptions that CFA considers acceptable and grants charter to beholder.

Dude…. I meant to say, he’ll get an edge if he’ll apply to IT/developer roles in bank. Same goes for CFA that also gives an edge, because IT guys/developers in banks know a little about finance, and neither they show great interest in understanding it.
Having studied and passing the exam speaks enough. Existence of charter is immaterial.
He’s in IT, he’ll be in IT.
