Hi friends, I am from a non finance background appearing for level 1 this june. How are Arif Irfanullah ’s study guides?

Hopefully someone else in the forum who has used Arif’s study guides can provide some feedback.
I personally found Wiley study guides to be very good for level 1. They are clear, concise and systematically work through a variety of examples to build your skills from scratch all the way up to the required standard for the exam.
Regardless of the provider you choose, always make sure you work all the CFA Institute end-of-chapter (EOC) questions, blue boxed examples, topic areas tests and mock exam.
As everyone knows, Level 1 is a massive volume game; so use a good study guide to learn the material effectively and test that understanding with the Institute’s question in addition to the prep provider’s ones. Also, pick a financial calculator and master its functions early.

Pretty sure this has been discussed extensively before.
Both are leading providers in the market. At the end of the day, it comes down to which works better for you personally and ultimately whether you can answer the Institute’s questions confidently having used either.
I personally preferred Wiley because their study guides and videos appeared to be more detailed than Schweser’s. Also, the lecture panel in the videos was top notch (Basit Shajani & Peter Olinto)and able to bring the material alive.
If I were you I’d quickly sample both and decide on one soon.
Also, Wiley is with you until you pass - meaning you get free course repeats and updates until you pass (I am not sure if this applies to all Wiley’s CFA products, but it definitely does for their Platinum and no other providers seem to offer this feature)
