HI,
I got "Analysis and use of financial statements" book . The CFA curriculam is duplicate of couple of chapters from this book. However, I found the book to be very useful since it comes with additional book of Solution manual. Doing problems will reinforce concepts.
I have question on other source text books. Is "Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, 8th edition, Frank Reilly and Keith Brown" book has good samples with solutions? Do you advise me to buy it to help for L1 and L2 tests?
I am also considering to buy the following
1. Fixed Income Analysis for the Chartered Financial Analyst Program, 2nd edition, Frank Fabozzi, CFA Institute
2. Quantitative Methods for Investment Analysis, 2nd edition, Richard DeFusco, Dennis McLeavey
3.Economics, 7th edition, Michael Parkin, Pearson-Addison Wesley
Please provide your opinion if these have problems and solutions. Here is the link for source text books pdf file.
