- for the mock exam for this year? If so, I can’t find it, because this idiotic CFA institute can’t make stuff like this easy to find. Anyway, I think there is an error on the PM section of the mock exam this year in the Buylak case. On number 28 they ask to have you calculate the after tax net cash proceeds of a lease. They try to be clever and have you pay a tax that accumulates for every year of the building’s life but the number they use is 5 when the building is really seven years old based on information from earlier in the vignette.
Always fun to sit there for 15 minutes trying to recalculate something only to figure out that they completely screwed something up.
