I have three months in hand..I can give 4 hours in morning (4-8) and 4 hours in evening (7-11). I am Engineer by profession. Can i do CFA L1 in 3 months..Igot my CFA books today. Please help me with some plan.
Thanks

Yes, it’s do able, you have quite a bit of time. Focus on the larger topics, i.e. Ethics, FRA.

Totally doable. There’s a similar topic just below, also check out some of the advice out there.
The most important thing is to discipline yourself, if you don’t stick to your plan you will have way lower chances of passing. Since you’re an engineer I’m sure you can make a perfect plan for yourself, and check this topic for more info about time planning - http://www.analystforum.com/forums/cfa-forums/cfa-level-i-forum/91324867
All the best!

I think it depends a lot on luck…
I kinda put aside my CFA studies till the last 3 weeks and even then only in the last 1 and half weeks did I go full throttle. So, I only started doing the practice exams the day before. In retrospect, clearly a stupid decision to not do it constantly.
In any case, 3 months of constant work shouldn’t be a problem. Just got to be lucky in the exam.

Honoka is apsolutely correct - constant work is what helps you the most I believe. It can be hard to have such a constant for weeks and weeks, but if you manage to do it I think it’s a lot easier on the exam.
In three months a lot of things can happen - that’s almost 90 days of preparation, if you have 4 hours per day that’s way above “recommended” 300h of preparation. So I think you should go for it and work as hard as you can to compensate your lack of experience in this field.

Studying 2-3 months for the CFA exam is like cramming for an undergrad exam. It won’t be fun, you’ll work like crazy, but you can do it.
