assuming people give up after 6 attempts, the pass % is around the number of people retaking. i..e if the pass mark is 30%, then 66% of people will be retakers. for 40% passmark it’s 59% etc.
it doesn’t really change so much if people give up on the third try. for 30% passmark it’s 64% retakers. and 40% passmark 49% retakers, 50% passmark are 63% retakers.
Alter the passrate for each attempt.. 1st try 30%, second try 50% and third try 60% that averages out at 42%. but still 51% of folks in the hall are retaking the damn thing.
