A good summary of GIPS

Too early for GIPS. This is straight memorization… save for month before.

@IsThereAny - do you think so..I thought GIPS, Behavioral finance, etc ….are the easy ones to start with. I have tried the difficult material but i find myself “not motivated enough”. I will still refresh every now and then as we go towards the D-day - but i will go with the theoretical sessions first!

GIPS is just rote memorization. I don’t remember it being very intuitive. Now, if you have a photographic memory, that is a different story. Might as well start taking pictures.

Too early to start GIPS mate. Keep it for the last.
Even if you have photographic memory, provides more ROI to use that to other subjects imho. Good luck.

photographs are not enough - you need hard disk space to store those photos - and you then need to decide about using hard disk space to store “IPS, other topics” vs. GIPS (by rote memorization). I think the GIPS without the G in front (IPS) is more meaningful use of space / time right now.

Not in the reading mood yet.
If this is true, why are you wading through GIPS? I have to agree with the others. Like ethics, this is a rote task, more bang for your buck in the latter study months. If you’re not in the mood to start reading, my suggestion would be to start making your way through the Schweser lectures (I happen to have an auditory tilt in my exam prep portfolio as it’s a strength for me, looking to cycle through 2 or 3 times).
