About erasures and the 2B pencil

I’ve been told it’s better to use the HB than 2B even if they allow 2B as the 2B significantly harder to erase.
Also, I’m told if you make too many erasures on the bubble sheet the scantron screws up.
This sounds highly dubious to me, can anyone else confirm the above statements?

relax. The scantron is nothing special just like the one you use for college.
As long as you study and know the material, these minor details will take care of itself.
