This article sparked my interest:

To what standards should Central Banks be held accountable? Should the ECB be held to the same standards as the Fed even though it has to take into account more than 1 country? (probably another topic)
I've heard the Indian CB also has some 'questionable' accounting practices...anyone have insight on this?
I can see why there'd be a reasonable basis to have different standards between central and local banks, but to what degree and how do you guys feel about it? Any input would be appreciated as this is something i'm not particularly knowledgeable on.
Thanks,
