Activating CFA membership

I got a mail from CFAI to activite my Regular membership post approval of my workex. I am thinking of activating my membership and pay dues in the next cycle i.e. June15-Jun16. Does my work-expereince approval stays valid till then?

Work experience that has been approved stays approved forever. How many additional years do you need to get the charter?
