I believe it was a part of the 2006 curriculum, and is no longer part of the curriculum starting 2007 onwards. I remember a question on the CFAI mock on this topic in Dec, when I prepared.

I have never see it on our material, just remember that if inflation is constant consumers will systematically underestimate the rate of inflation
