2012 Rdg 44 - Douglas Manor Apts Example
Can someone help me with str8 line depr for a 393,750 mortgage @8%over 30 yrs.
I get 393.750/30= ~13.1k
But the book has it as 16.4k?
 
You don’t depreciate mortgages. The depreciation is based on the improvements to the apartments (see previous page in the textbook).
