I like railroads as well, b/c they offer better metrics in tons of freight shipped per gallon of diesel consumed than 18 wheelers. In terms of specific companies i'm more bullish w/ BNI...esp with the recent efficiency improvements that they have had with their ETM system that will increase safety and decrease labor big time. Even without that, they still have a better profit margin, better profit per mile of track, etc etc than a lot of their competition even union pacific last time I checked.
