AM and PM are equal weight right?

I know the score is 180 for each section but are they also weighted equally for each section? They’ve never specifically said if it is or not but it’s always been implied to my knowledge. But just in case someone has heard otherwise?
I left about 27 minutes worth of questions blank on the AM section, but I felt like I completely aced the PM part. I thought it was easier than the Level 1 PM part, so if I don’t pass cause of the AM part i’ll be kicking myself because I feel like I won’t get lucky with another PM set of questions like that again.
 
Its possible in the PM section, you can get 9 right and get 27 points towards the 180,
but also can get only 9 points for the 9 questions you can get right the 180?
Is this correct? Each MC you can get max. 3 points?
 
AM: 180 Minutes, 180 points. Question subpart minutes are a good guide for their weight.
PM: yes, each MC is 3 points
 
I heard for this year, AM is weighted 80%, PM is 20%. And of that 80%, the first question is weighted 65%, with no partial credit given. Any eraser marks will result in a zero for the entire question. Also, if any questions are left blank, the entire exam will not be graded. Lastly, candidates who brought a back-up calculator to the exam will not have their exams graded and will not be allowed to register to take the 2017 exam–they must wait until 2018.
 
in reality this doesn’t happen. questions are reviewed, ommited, points awarded for multiple choices, all choices who knows- a crap shoot. but i guess broadly 50:50
 
a point on the AM exam = a pint on the PM exam (i.e. they’re equally weighted).
