Am I late?

Hello everyone,
I use CFAI books.
So far I read book 1 to 3 (expect ehtics in book 1, I prefer to keep it for the end) and I read half of book 4.
When I say read I mean do all EOC exercises and prepared notes on all chapters that I read.
Do you think I am late?
I think I will be done with all the books + exercises and notes but mid of february. Then I plan on taking only mock exams and reviewing the concepts for the last 3 months. Is this enough?

Hi mark666,
it sounds like your all over this stuff and ready to take the exam!
when doing the EOC ques what were you scoring (I am assuming you did these closed booked)?
also have u used any vids or supporting prep providers?
How many hrs per day are you devoting to this.

You are doing pretty good Mark!
I think tracking progress with your peers helps, cause sometimes a topic or a subject takes way longer than you anticipated.
I am not touching CFAI texts excpet for EOC’s. If time permits I would wish to do their exhibits also.
I am primarily relying on Elan. Doing their study notes and practice questions. I have also bought Finquiz but I havent started practicing on that yet.
So far I am thru with Fixed Icome, Alternative Investments, Equity and FRA. Reading and practice from Elan and EOC’s for these topics.
I believe for L2, practice is the key.. so I am hoping I will atleast have 45 days plus for practice and mocks.

I am waiting for my cfa level 1 grades and i wonder if i can study level 2 ciriiculum to register for june 2014 so what is the most difficulut parts or books to start with and if i am late ?? also i want to ask if there is a cfa lvel 2 exam in december or it is ony for june ??

You can, you could’ve started studying for L2 since December, if you really wanted to.
