Annual Unit Credit

My understanding is that
Annual Unit Credit = (Final yr est salary * benefit formula * yrs of service)/yrs of service
or simply
Annual Unit Credit = (Final yr est salary * benefit formula )
In CFA book eg 4 , on page 103 (FSA book) at bottom they calculated it diffrently, the calculations arew wrong as shown , is there is a mistake in printing ?
also this appears on page 105 on top. is this misprint or am i reading it wrong?
