wait..what? Logjam? Is that even a factor in determining MPS? Wouldn’t this distort the competence level the CFAI is intending to maintain?calvol wrote:
I’m guessing 48% pass rate and 62% MPS…. I think there’s a logjam at L2 going back several years, and a lot of well-prepared candidates due to proliferation of prep courses.
hahaha of course, the infamous “Logjam Adjustment”, DUH! I will have to start wearing some tinfoil before venturing into AF soon enough. All the theory crafting though… lolAnbu_ wrote:

Checkout the year it was 70+% and decide for yourself!Anbu_ wrote:

There hasn’t been a pass rate that high in nearly 30 years. Not to mention that during that time, all three exams had pass rates in that range - doubt it was clearing a log-jam.calvol wrote:

Are you saying there is a spike in repeat writers (and assuming they are stronger candidates in L2)? I don’t think there’s a spike. L2 pass rate has been consistently around 40-45% for 15 years. Whatever the repeat rate was 8 years ago, I can’t see why it would be significantly higher today.calvol wrote:
