Any guess what will the MPS be after the brutal AM and breeze PM?

9 cases in 3 hrs. is reasonable 11 cases in 3 hrs. is going overboard / dropping 2 cases altogether SOS
Low MPS ~62 is the only only hope

Would you rather have more cases worth less minutes or vice versa? I think looking at the table of contents and seeing 15 cases can put one into a hurry-up mode and may be counterproductive. But there may also be a benefit to having more 3 point questions asked as opposed to everything being worth 9-12 points.

Is there some estimate of the relationship between MPS and the pass rate available?
i.e. if we have 62% MPS , what percentage of candidates get through?
Is there also some manipulation of the percentage of passes ?
Is percentage dominant and MPS determined by the percentage of passes?

My 80/60/40 score last year was 66. My guess is that the MPS was a few points lower.

based on what i’ve seen, i would guess a MPS around 63%

Not really.. i have read in that 5th decade ebook at cfa site.. it says once paper are graded.. approximately 50% of middle group are re graded by senior grader to give them every chance to pass the examination… i think i fall thr and i wish i cross that border.. damn..

More cases worth less for me. Because if you get that question you’re not strong in, that’s ~7% gone, vs ~4%. Less chance for recovery.
Also, those questions that just keep continuing I find to be more exhausting. Although I wasn’t as prepared last year vs this year, it felt that way… more exhausting and ambiguous last year.
Also, as a question keeps extending to ‘d’ or ‘e’, I found it can make you second guess ‘b’ or ‘c’.

Awesome guesses, but…
From the FAQ:
I received at least 50% on almost all topics on my results score matrix, but I still did not pass. How can that happen?
Candidates should not attempt to interpret an overall passing or failing score from the results matrix information. The minimum passing score for the exam is determined by many factors, and is not a predetermined or specific percentage of the points either for individual topic areas or for the entire exam. Specifically, candidates should not necessarily interpret scores between 50% and 70% as passing.
