Any job prospects in Singapore?

How is Investment banking and prospects of getting a fresh entry level full/part time job with CFA L-I?I am not into finance side. 10 yr exp after my M Tech(Mechanical engg) from IIT Delhi.

Should I become member of CFA local society in singapore?Does it help?

My wife has got a huge offer there(She is Instrumentation & Process engineer with 11 yr work exp)

Why do you want to get into I banking?.Younger and relatively cheaper fresh faced MBAs are the usual recruits for Ibanking -you may have priced yourself out of the market for I bankers.

I mean to say front end side-Equity analyst,Fund manager(who manages billion dollar fund later) role
I love stock market,manage my own family portfoilio

-Not into M&A and that kind of I banking job

We've hired ambitious, hard-working juniors in our investment banking department in Singapore if they were able to convince us that they wanted to go for it. CFA 1 certainly helps but it'll take some convincing with your background!
