The first paragraph is pretty funny!

Good afternoon everyone!

The June results will be released any day now and although you may have passed (Congratulations are in order if you did!) you might know someone else who was not so fortunate. Please pass this email along to them as they will have a decision to make very soon: "Do I prepare for the December CFA exam as I just did or do I try something new?"

Every year Toronto CFA Society, in partnership with Stalla, is pleased to assist candidates in preparing for the CFA exams by offering a comprehensive lecture series. Please note that the fall CFA Level 1 classes begin on July 25th (this Tuesday) at 6pm. Once again they are being held at the University of Toronto, Alumni Hall, which is located at 121 St Joseph Street (between Bay Street & Queen's Park).

On July 24th we will be holding a few info sessions (at no charge) to help explain and demo the Stalla PassMaster Software question bank, the online makeup classes, and other aspects of our weekly course offerings. If you have any questions about the classes or the CFA exam please come to our event. Refreshments will be served.

SPECIAL: If you register for the classes at one of the upcoming info sessions scheduled for July 24th you will receive the Stalla Flashcards at no charge (retail price C$180 for those registered in a class) and the fee for express shipping (2 business-day delivery) will be waived. [Please note that this offer only applies to those who have yet to sign up and only for those who attend the info session.]

Please select one of the times with an X:
_____ July 24 12:00pm 1:00pm
_____ July 24 1:15pm 2:15pm
_____ July 24 6:00pm 7:00pm

The location of the info sessions is at our downtown office (located at First Canadian Place, 100 King Street West, 37th Floor) in our large boardroom. Space is limited so please register early to avoid disappointment.

Please do not click Reply to this email as it will be sent to Toronto CFA Society instead of Stalla. Please click Forward and send your response to [email protected].

wow, that's a strange first paragraph. However, I did do the Stalla series and found it very helpful. How helpful? Well, I guess I'll find out next week. If I passed, it was a critical resource...

I got the exact same message. However, I dont understand what is so strange about the first para? Seems standard to me.

I got it, I think it was a tacky send by the Toronto Society so close to the results release.
