I realize this is a specific request, but if anyone has LOS’s in Word format, or knows where I might be able to get them, I’d really appreciate it. I’m trying to create an outline and it would be a huge help.
Thanks!

I was hoping writing my own notes would be better for retention. I have Schweser notes as my primary source anyway. If you don’t mind, what’s so special about Finquiz?

Well, similar to how studying handwritten flashcards or notes >>>> Schweser flashcards or notes, I’d imagine that copying/pasting from the LOSs in Word isn’t the best method to retain the information either.
FinQuiz provides two kinds of notes for *each chapter*. The first is like a cliff notes version of the CFAI cirriculum – able to condense an entire chapter into roughly 8 pages or so. And the second is a flow chart. Both are excellent and there is plenty of room for you to add your own handwritten notes as well.
Of course you should take anyone’s advice with a grain of salt, but I’ve used Schweser in the past so I’m able to make a pretty fair comparison between the two supplemental material providers. And IMO, FinQuiz is better for Level III than Schweser.

Oh, I wasn’t solely going to rely on copy/pasted LOSs. I wanted to write my own notes under each LOS to focus on things I’m bound to forget or misremember. Not sure if that’s a total waste of time.
Thanks for the perspective. Does Finquiz send you printed material or is it all online? I’m guessing latter based on price, but there wasn’t affirmative confirmation/denial either way in the marketing material.

^You can download them directly from the Web site. Lots of good practice Qs and some exams, too.

you sure seem to give FinQuiz a ringing endorsement…
i have used CFAI and schweser this entire time, but i could shell out some additional $ for the FinQuiz material, but i wonder if i might be putting too many irons in the fire when it comes to prep provider stuff. would it be helpful as a supplement for the remaining 60 plus days?

At this stage in the game, I say you should stay focused and keep working with what you have at hand.
If you had to sit for LIII in 2016 (knock on wood), then you should give FinQuiz a shot.
