are 1200 hours enough for passing cfa level 2?

This is not a troll post. Also on average, how long does it take to read the whole CFAI curriculum?
 
You would probably only get through the entire curriculum 6 times leaving you 10 short of a guaranteed pass.
 
If you start six months before the exam, that’s almost 30% of your time. Leaving you with 30% to sleep, and 30% to work/play.
I’d say it’s doable.
 
If you spend 1200 hours studying for the exam, you are studying inefficiently.
 
1200hrs? wow I thought I was the champion with 700 hrs for L2. I used CFAI books. Probably spent around 300 hrs on reading alone LOL. It was entertaining though. It was like having 2 jobs for me. Ops in the day and equity analyst at night.
