Not sure but I remember this forum seems more active before. And when I go to my local library, I will see people studying CFA but not now. Maybe this is selective sampling and cannot be taken seriously
I’ve never seen a graph of activity over time, but I suspect that August-September-October are always slow periods for AnalystForum, as few people are studying for June exams at this time of year.
CFA Institute publishes and updates a PDF that provides the number of people sitting for each level, for each year, and the passing rate (including the number of people who passed). Therein lies your answer.
As a side note, activity should really begin to pick up here starting next February/March 2015.
