are formula's given in the test?

my uni have formula sheet attached to the back of the exam (yet the fail rate is ridiculous), does CFA have that?
 
are you saying that I have to remember all the formulas, that’s Mission Impossible…

This is one of the reasons why two out of three fail the Level 1 exam.

100,000 people before you have done it. I am one of them. It is not impossible, just difficult. THAT is the truth.
 
Formulae are not given.
You don’t have to memorize all of the formulae; you only have to memorize the ones that actually appear in the exam. (Of course, because you don’t know which ones will show up, you’re better off memorizing as many as you can.)
Not all formulae are created equal; some are certain to show up on the exam, others are likely, still others are rare. I’d spend a lot more time memorizing the 3-factor DuPont formula than I would memorizing the daily expenditures formula; I’d spend a lot more time on cash conversion cycle than on NPV of a venture capital project with conditional payoffs. And so on.
 
I guess I should have gone to school in Australia…..Hilarious….No formula sheet man…..the best way is to try to understand the formula not to memorize it…..Good luck…
