There is a fair amount of opportunity, however there is some fierce competition. A lot of positions require at least a couple of years of experience within Finance/Investments. It's difficult to obtain a position without much experience, even if you have the education.
Guys, I actually live in the U.S. but plan to move to Toronto in 2008 after I get the Charter. That's why I was asking. My wife is totally hell bent on moving to Canada in the near future. The pressure is getting to me. Its canada or burst!

Yes I am studyin for cfa and am lettin ppl know if they wana study with me....this way we can make a group slowly slowly......plus i study in u f t downtown.....where all thw other cfa candididates are studyin

I will also begin studies for the level 1 07 june exam. I am currently studying at York University and am involved with a Finance association here at York our website adress is www.afayork.com .
