Are u guys practicing text book questions?

My strategy so far has been to study frm schweser notes and practice the end of the chapter questions, I also randomly practice the text book questions but not all of them. Havent touched the text book for reading any LOS so far.However i hope to do ethics frm the text book. So far done with quants+eco+ half of FRA. Am i late??? Is this study strategy fine?
 
Had you been following the Schweser 16-week program you should have finished FSA by Wednesday, so I guess that makes you right on track.
 
hey wawa!!! i m not following the schweser 16 week program package. But the point is that, im fully depending on schweser and its end of the chapter questions.Still 7 subjects left after FRA and we have like 3.5 months left. I dont think i will have time to go through all the text book EOC and also read through text book.
 
I would pick and choose what to read from the text book - I felt that going over Ethics, the multiple regression section and SS#6 was beneficial. I felt I didn’t need to go over Fixed Income or Alternatives in the CFA text book.

I had already figured out that you weren’t following their 16-week program, but, anyway, you seem to be keeping the same pace as their program and follow just about the same study strategy. The program of theirs it is set to finish one month before the exam to make room for practice exams etc. I don’t think you need to worry about your study strategy just yet.
 
I found that the CFAI EOC questions are a must. I find the Schweser questions in the book and q bank are way too easy. Also, in many cases (FRA) the CFAI EOC seem to follow the actual exam format. This is where q back really falls down in level II. Most people I have seen that were successful spend lots of time doing CFAI EOC,
 
I m just focusing on CFAI EOC at the moment.
How is Scheweser’s Question Bank ? Is it in the same examinatio format ? How is the difficulty level ?
I havent touched Schweser Books at all.
Planning to just focus on CFAI EOC + Scheswer Practise Exams + CFAI Mock exams.
Should that be enough or should i practise from some where else ?

I’m using the CFAI end of chapter questions but the schweser questions are helpful for cementing concepts in your head. Especially the concept checkers, it helps to do them since the EOC questions can be pretty long if they’re not multiple choice. That being said though, the CFAI questions are important because they show you the format of the exam.
