if not, then you might want to grab an english speaking book before you grab the CFAI text

S-o-b this sounds like my story. I breezed through FSA like it was a piece of cake and bombed rest of the exam.

by BOMB i mean bomb bomb.

Saying I "failed the exam" would definitely be an understatement.
