Hi KrukVT,

Is the video from Schweser useful? How much does related to the notes and in what detail?
I have a 30 minutes drive one way commute to my work, so maybe this is something I can use.

What about the Video class?

P.S. Your schedule posted in another thread seems great. I might follow yours too.

Thanks

Steve

I've only been through 1/2 of Study Session 2 on the videos, but from what I can tell so far they are great. I don't have the Schweser notes so I can't compare it to those, however it follows the LOS fairly closely. My favorite part about it is that it focuses on how to solve problems using the calculator vs. plugging and chugging the formulas.

As far as the audio: I listen to these during my commute and while I am at the gym. It gives me reinforcement of what I've learned in the readings and I can at least get something useful out of my drive. That said: the audio can be difficult to follow, especially when they are talking about formulas. I have found the audio to be most useful so far with the ethics sections. I can listen to the entire ethics and GIPS sections is less than an hour, and I plan to do this at least once a week until the exam until I know everything cold.

I've only been using the audio about 1 week and the video for 1 day, so take this with a grain of salt. I'll post another review in a few weeks once I've used them more.

I have Schweser Video and I have been through them. They seems to be pretty good to get started I dont have audio though. But I really like KrukTV way about Ethiscs.

That's right kkent!

Also for those with ipods there is an even faster way to get through the ethics material:

Download this program:
http://www.freeipodsoftware.com./index.php

You can convert the mp3's to an m4b (ipod's audiobook format). Once you have done that you can increase the playback speed by about 25%, getting you through the material that much faster!

i have schweser ethics video - it's really helpful when you get to watch stuff
something about visual memory m.b.

i'm selling my Video Seminar for $150 (retails for $600) and Schweser 6 book MP3 for $75 (retails for $250) if anyone is interested. It was all paid for by my employer so I'm selling it cheap. Email me at [email protected] if interested.

I wrote to you in your yahoo email. I am very interested to it. Is it from 2007?

Yea it's 2007. I actually have 2 more copies to sell. A couple of my colleagues want to sell their CDs and MP3's if anyone else is interested. $200 for both Video and MP3 or $150 for Video and $75 for MP3 separately. Email [email protected]

Steve4279, I can't check my yahoo account at work so I'll reply to your email in a couple of hours when I get home.
