When I do TVM calcualtions, and compute PMT I get the little asterix above the answer sometimes, what does this mean?!? My answers are not correct and i cannot fathom why.
The asterisk indicates that the value was computed in the worksheet: it’s not an error condition.
If your answers are incorrect, double check your inputs for P/Y, C/Y, BEG vs. END, N, PV, etc. If you have a specific example, feel free to post it.
