automatic download of credit ratings?

Does S&P or bloomberg provide some sort of Excel add-in to automatically download companies’ debt credit ratings? (dealing with 500+ companies)

=BDP(Cusip & ” Corp”, “SP_Rating”) or something similar to SP_Rating. Dont know the nuemonic off the top of my head. Can be done easily.

FLDS is function on a BBerg terminal that lets you identify the fields available for download into Excel via the API.

problem solved. it’s =BDP(“entity”, “field”). just need to remember to put “equity” behind the entity name.
