Back office to Front in asset management

the argument is dubious. 99% of talk about intelligence is just about stroking the egos of those in the group who claim to have superiority. dont' believe it.

secondly, unless you're talking about being a top executive manager vs. back office, i don't think intelligence should really be a factor. i think the more influential factor would be work ethic, social skills and networking connections.

Honestly speaking, not many things in life is made or broken by intelligence. It's everything else that counts!!

In IBD, for example, many people can do the work, but few have the ambition, social skills, the ability to suck up the @#$%& hours, and being treated like @#$%& all at the same time.
