First-time poster, but long-time reader here. Just want to say I have enjoyed reading everyone’s comments over the past couple of years and I really appreciate the great advice and motivation that can be found on this forum.
I found out yesterday that I passed level 3 after failing it last year with a band 1. Passed levels 1 and 2 the first time so my approach to my first attempt at level 3 did not show the respect that the test deserves. Despite feeling like shit for being in band 1, I ordered Schweser in January of this year and really focused on answering the AM essays the way they should and getting a strong PM score to offset my weak AM.
I posted my matrix from 2015 fail band 1 and also this year’s pass for anyone who’s curious. My AM last year was absolutely terrible and my PM pretty bad too. This year’s AM still sucked by I think some of those <=50% topics were close to 50%. My PM was pretty good and I would guess a good bit of those >70% topics were close to perfect.
Anyways, as they say, “anything’s possible”. So for anyone who didn’t pass this year go pick yourself up, believe in yourself and hit it harder next year.
