Hi folks,

I have registered for CFA Level1 for december 2007.
I have good Finance Background(MBA Finance) and working experience. Also having all Textbooks that needed to cover all topics for CFA L1.

Now, from where should i begin my study? I am thinking to by schweset notes and Practice Tests. Should i start to study notes first and then move to problems or should i start solving problems, if i dont get it correct i need to go back to notes and study?

All suggestions and comments will be appriciated.

Thanks,
Raj

Raj,

If you have experience.....and have some good knowledge in this field...I would suggest you to first try one of the sample tests to know where you are in each area. Then you can start attacking your weak/strong areas....

Start from reading schweser notes and do concept checkers..Since you have experiance and academics for finance..you are half way there...make a schedule..go through concepts . if they are easy go striaght to q bank otherwise just get concept down then go practise exams...Make sure you study the notes twice..Focus on Ethics, FSA and Quant..Rest you are all set...

Good luck..

Aztek and Amar thanks very much for advice.

Really appreciate this.
