Best Book on Bankruptcy/Reorg

Has anybody read a good book on Corporate Bankruptcy. In particular, I'm looking for general detail on the bankruptcy process, from a structural standpoint - ie setting up NewCo and bankrupting the old, what issues are involved, types of sales and auctions to move assets, etc. Thanks for the help.
 
some guy from the gordian group wrote a book, think you can find info. on their website.
 
no but my friend used to work there and he said that book was given out to the analysts at all the restructuring groups and shops - lazard, hlhz, miller buckfire...
 
I can recommend this book "Distressed Debt Analysis: Strategies for Speculative Investors" by Stephen Moyer (look for it on Amazon). Very well written by a practitioner. It's actually entertaining and does not put you to sleep. However, it might not be that exhaustive on the information that you are looking for. Unfortunately most other books on this issue are way outdated, so I don't think there is a better alternative.

I also like Moyer's Book

Have heard of the Gordian Group's Book, but don't know anything about it. "Distressed Investment Banking" i think is the name.

There is also now an updated version of Edward Altman's book:
Corporate Financial Distress and Bankruptcy


But i generally think it's hard to find something that covers what you describe really well. which is unfortunate
 
If you want learn about Bankruptcy go to airacira.org they have materials you can purchase that are better than any books
