best choices for CFA education

First, I did indeed try the search function using various combinations of my question--a thousand apologies if I used the wrong query.

I recently enrolled in M.S. (Financial Analysis) program at The College for Financial Planners. It basically teaches from the CFA curriculum with an added "capstone" course at the end.

Question is two-fold:
1. Has anyone here had experience with the college I'm attending and would like to share some insights (since I'm only in first class)

2. Would you share the academic venue you chose to prepare for CFA and how you would rate it.
 
Uh, it appears the college offers a self-study cirriculum. So you are paying extra money for the privalege of reading the CFA books on your own. I also collected this gem from the website:

When can I take my exam?
You have to wait 24 hours after you enroll in a course before you will be eligible to take a final exam. Be sure to check your eligibility at least 24 hours before taking an exam to ensure that an exam will be available for you. The 24-hour waiting period allows time for delivery of your study materials, as well as a reasonable amount of time for you to prepare for the exam.
 
The College for Financial Planners - I gotta say, the name itself is not confidence inspiring.

I saw the site and I realize they do more than what is thought of traditional Financial Planning education, but the name is quite misleading...I wouldn't put it on my resume.
