Can anyone give advice on where to find the best take-home practice exams for Level 1? I am not interested in the test environment, but would like about 10 at-home paper (non-electronic) practice exams with good explanations for the answers.

Kaplan’s practice exams were sufficiently difficult for me. I did the CFAI mocks the week before the exam just to gain an appreciation for question format, but reviewing my Kaplan mocks definitely reinforced my understanding of the material. The Kaplan Qbank on the other hand was not as helpful for me.
Definitely too easy. It was helpful to keep things fresh from other sections while reading, but it didn’t really help in “crunch time” when I needed to know how far I was from passing.
