hi guys,
i recently joined BlackRock after studying for the CFA for a while and was always grateful for the resources that this forum provided. i know a lot of you are looking for new jobs (whether pass or fail jun ‘13) so in case anyone is interested in applying for BlackRock, look through the career site and send me the taleo req id of the role youre interested in with your up-to-date resume and i will take a quick look and send it off to our recruiters if i think you have enough experience (relevant experience is an absolute must).
as you prob know, apps/resumes usually get lost in the bottom of the pile if you apply via website so hopefully a direct referral (as it did for me) will get your resume closer to the right hiring mgr’s hands

I think people would be more comfortable sending it to a Blackrock email address.
 
If this is legit and not just a recruiter trying to stockpile resumes (which I strongly doubt), I commend you for the creative method of earning referral bonuses.
 
i work with a few of the recruiters on a regular basis in the business management aspect of my role so theyd be pretty receptive to any good potential hires i field to them…
(and yes i would get a referral bonus if anyone was hired through my referral)
feel free to email me if you have any questions…and i assure you, there is nothing i can or would do with your resume besides send them to a recruiter.
 
Mate, you just failed ethics by not disclosing your financial interest in this scheme… Well done to villnius for calling op out on this.
