Does anyone has already done the «bloomberg product certification program” ? (Helpfullness, difficulty…)

yes, its ridiculously easy, best way to learn to use bloomberg is just to use it. Help desk is great.
 
I passed a couple exams on the terminal here at work and decided to stop because:
a) It’s too easy. For example, a question might be: “What do you enter to find news on a company?”
b) It’s boring. You have to watch like 10 videos of varying length (20 minutes - 40 minutes) to get the certification.
c) No one cares about it. I personally would not give a shit if someone had this on their resume.
d) Passing these tests doesn’t show you know anything about Bloomberg. The questions ask you functions that may not be relevant to your job, and even if you pass an exam, you will forget what you learned within 10 minutes of completion.
 
is the help desk located in australia or something. all their chicks have a cute foreign accent and are incredibly polite. american women are not known for their politeness ya know.
 
It is the easiest cert imaginable, a cool quickie for your resume if you are down time. Just use the HELP function.
 
Thank you guys for the feedback, the answer is clear! I will go with the help function.
 
You don’t even have to watch the videos. The questions are multiple choice, and you can use one screen to display the test, and the other to navigate around BBerg and find the answers.
 
Good if you want to learn Bloomberg but don’t use it for work, like me. I have access to a Bloomberg through my school but not work, so it is a nice way for me to get familiar with it.

Anyone been to a bloomberg office? I think BB hires chicks from the same pool of candidates as telemundo does. Not ethnicity, but attractiveness.

There was an article in Conde Nast a few months back about Bloomberg’s culture. After reading the article this would definitely make sense.
