Book(s) CFA Level I

Dear All,
Can I buy CFA Level I study book online please?
I know I could buy the book from CFA, but can I buy the book from another website please?
(I live in Belgium)
I want to check the book before I register for the exam.
(To check if it’s not to hard for me)

I’m pretty sure that you can’t.
If you could, one of two things would be true:

1. It would cost you more than the cost to get it from CFA Institute directly, or
2. It would be a pirated (i.e., illegal) copy

Number 1 in uneconomical, and #2 violates the Standards of Professional Conduct.
I’d suggest that you buy it from CFA Institute.

If I’m not mistaken, CFAI retails the curriculum text for each level on Amazon, but as S2000 pointed out they’re more expensive than you’d be able to get directly from CFAI if you were a candidate in the program.
