Breaking past the 70% mark on Mock Exams

Any advice on how to break the through the 70% mark on mock exams on Schweser’s exams. I have gone through all of the questions in the Q bank and still am not pushing through the 70% mark. Should I just focus on working through past CFAI mocks at this point?
 
Prepare with schweser-Score around 80% in their practice exams and Score around 50-60 % in CFAI mocks
Prepare with other than schweser prep provider-Score around 80 % in CFAI mocks and Score around 65 % in Schweser practice exams..
 
There’s just a sheer amount of material to cover. Once in a while, there’s a curve ball question that you either missed or forgot during your studies.
 
Thats true !!! But 35 % of Questions in each schweser practice exam tests the exceptions and outlier points in each study session in such a way that we get knocked off….That is why we are hovering around 65 % always…..I guess CFAI Level-1 exam would be somewhere between the difficulty level of Schweser practice exams and CFAI mock exams…
 
If you’re in Finance industry, CFA material is actually easy - problem is you’d either be in IBD(accounting) or trading(derivatives and stuff), so there would always be one bit of CFA you’d find hard. Not hard in it’s literal sense but in terms of the way questions are presentated in exam, they’re generally testing the “fine print”.
My advice - once you’ve done a few tests, go over difficult concepts and books again and again and again. Leave your strenghts for revision on the last day.
