I know most of you have heard this before, and im sure a lot of you did bring two calcs to your level one test.
i was trying to clean my calculator because some of the keys got sticky, and with just a little bit of cleaning spray on it, it no longer turns on. This really set in the reality that a calculator might fail during the exam and then there would be nothing you can do.
i might even bring three in june

3 calculators, 2 backup batteries, and 1 dozen pencils

I didnt bring one for L1 and Quant was the only thing that I got crushed..
caculators? I know the black sholes like I know Jurassic Park the movie.
And, yes, I know we wont have to calculate Black Sholes, but We could do it anyway.
Oh hell yeah!!

A lot of other fellow candidates bring two calculators in the exam . And they use only one . So , you can borrow it from them if you are stuck . You can even ask the invigilator for help.

I always have brought two, never know when a battery will decide to stop, to much effort goes into studying to fail due to something preventable like that.

Yea? So people who bring 2 are just so helpful and willing to share huh?
and I have yet to meet ANY “invigilator” who brings extra calculators just to help candidates in case theirs fail. or do you expect the “invigilatorto fix your calculator for you?

No advice is bad advice except for this.

So, we can ask the invigilator for help if we get stuck? I’m going to ask the invigilator for help on pension calculations.

I had a dream that I dropped my calculator as I was walking up to the exam center.
