Did the CFA Mocks yesterday, average 50%.
Did well in FRA, Ethics, CF and Equity
I hadn’t revised Economics, Quant, PM and AI - so wasn’t expecting to pass.
Working on a strategy for five days - looking at revising FRA, Equity, CF, Ethics - these are my strong points. AI, Econ, Quant and PM - going through notes and formula. FI is the most difficult for me - but still has a study session I understand. Punting Derivatives.
What else can I do to improve my chances?
 
From what I heard the Kaplan mocks are easier than CFAI and more representing of the exam.
so if you can get your Kaplan to mid 60s you have a chance
 
Going through notes then I hit another Mock Monday Evening.
 
I actually find Kaplan mocks harder than cfai mocks!
 
Don’t punt all of derivatives. Learn Forwards, and memorize the basic definitions around Black Scholes. If you run through the Forward EOCs, you should have 80% of it.
Hammer the Fixed Income Topic Tests if you haven’t already. It would be a shame not to pass if you’re strong in FRE, Equity, Ethics and CF.
