PM- 83-88%

that’s a good score, but you won’t pass
just kidding
that’s a good score, you’ll pass
in your dream
just kidding
that’s a good score, you’ll pass
but not this year
just kdding
that’s a good score, you’ll pass
pass the bottom 20% of candidates
just kidding
that’s a good score, you’ll pass…
that’s actually a really good score…

Lol what do you want more !!! what do you expect ?? at the lower range of your expectation its over 70 haha

Are you serious about your question or just bragging ?

@Bilal bro i really have no idea what the MPS would be.. i feel that AM was pretty easy and still i messed up due to time management … i m doubting MPS would be high 70s and i might end up in band 9-10.. thats why came here to know the opinion of others..

mps high 70s = > passing rate low 20s .. 58 < MPS < 63 … thats how i see it. Others estimated that they’d score 50 on AM and barely 70 on PM .. those have the right to freak out.

In my opinion, MPS does not change much every year. The variation in candidate preparedeness makes the MPS hover around similar level..your score is 70 on the lower range. If you are v confident about attaining that score then you are sure to pass. Remember CFAI has never failed a candidate who scored atleast 70..In my case, my average score estimate comes to 66% so i am worried i wud be on the border and barely miss crossing the line. Will come to know in 2 months time.

@Bilal i wish your prediction and analysis comes true ! thanks :)

@intokyo yeah 2 months is a long long time ! I wish we all make it through ! thanks for your reply

how can someone predict their score with a decent confidence margin (i.e. 90%+)???? do you guys remember every single question, or most of them??? i find it laughable when i see someone saying i did 50-55% in the AM and 70-75% in the PM.
what confidence do you guys have in your “scores?” based on what i remember (like half of the test), what i did well and what mistakes i made, i am 95% certain i got above 70% on the AM and above 45% on the PM…. however, i am 75% confident I got above an 80% on the AM and above 60% on the PM.
out of the roughly 40-50 questions/parts in the AM, i only left 3 parts blank (about 11-12 pts total) as i circled to come back to and didnt have time. about 30 questions i am positive i got 99% of the points available, which leaves about 10 questions or so that i felt good about my answer, felt i answered what was asked, but through the quick pace maybe i missed something, a trick, or didn’t answer completely what they are looking for - i’m assuming i got 50% of the pts awarded for those.
out of the 60 PM questions, i only remember about half of the questions. I know i got 20 questions correct, and i know i got about 10 incorrect. the remaining 30 i simply just don’t recall. if i got half of those correct that leaves me at an overall avg of 58.5% for the PM section…. maybe i got more right, maybe less, who knows.
just curious what you guys are assessing in coming up with your “estimated” scores?? my confidence band is pretty wide. i’m certain i got between a 65-85% on the AM, and a 45-65% on the PM. if it’s toward the lower end, i’ll be seeing some of you next yr. towards the higher end, i’ll be done. in the middle, and i’m on the bubble.

You dont need to remember every single question but just the gut feel. I think the confidence level is higher right after the exam - both low and high side. As time passes, one uncovers more stupid mistakes and tend to forget the questions so likely the confidence level drops…In my case i am 90% confident i am in 65-70 range both in AM and PM. Would that be sufficient ? Will see come August.

I make a table descibing probabilities that I fill out for the PM with columns as follows: Gamble (1/3),Educated Guess (at least 1/2), Good answer (at least 85% correct). based on which I’m expecting about 68-75 on the PM
For the AM, one only has to remember the ones he didn’t do, but similar process. The ones I do fill out are about 85% +. Then there’s also a “hope for partial credit”, which I’m expecting to hit 35-50%. Overall I expect a Min of 55 and a max of 70 - around 63-ish.
It’s pretty simple actually.
What sucks is that I’m hovering over Band 9 and Band 11….

I’m expecting 99% in AM and 99% in PM. Will I pass?! lol
Depends upon the MPS for this year. Your chances seem pretty good , but if enough people scored perfect then you could receive the dreaded Band 9-10. Nevertheless I wish you good luck, Sir.
*sarcasm meter now OFF*
