can someone show me how to fill that circle?

Yeah I know it’s kind of weird and f**l question. but I remember I did spend huge amount of time trying to fill the circles to exactly cover the oval.. i hate to do that.
Next time if I took the exam again I would not let this took a significant amount of my time again. so is there a knack of doing this?

why would you hate that? Its like the safety precautions before a flight takes off but without the beautiful air hostesses showing you how to do it.
Talking about beauty, I would rather hope there are no blonde, pretty & hot proctors for my exam.
 
Where I took the exams, the job description for proctors must have said “must be middle aged Asian woman”.
 
what are you talkig about? I’ll saying filling and darking the choices on the answer key consumes lot of time.
I really don’t care if the proctor is a blonde or not… why do they come here to be a proctor?
btw, those in my exam room were all old white female.
 
Actually, filling in ovals is a very important skilll to master for success on the CFA exams. Fortunately, AnalystForum is offering some quality teaching aids directed at teaching this very important skill. For $49, you can get a DVD of Chad teaching oval filling. For an additional $20, you can purchase a package of 6 scantron sheets brimming with empty ovals so you can practice the techniques that Chad teaches in the DVD’s. You will probably never reach the level of excellence displayed in the DVD’s, but this is a unique opportunity to learn from a master.
 
I can’t believe I’m offering advice on this, but if you take a non-mechanical pencil that’s not very sharp it’ll fill the circles more quickly.

so it’s not necessary exactly covering the oval? there should not be half filled ovals?
what about over filled ones?
also how dark should it be? I did spend time on darkening….
 
If you haven’t mastered the art of filling in Scantron ovals at this point in your life, you don’t deserve the charter.

Another question: what exactly is “f**l”? I can’t for the life of me figure out what two letters those asterisks represent.

i think so too. i also agree that if i continue to write after time called, i’m not qualified for the charter either.
I once practiced how to do ovals efficiently some ten years ago. now I forgot.
 
You people should all be ashamed of yourselves! This poor Level 1 Lifer wants the impeccable wisdom of AF and all you can seem to do is smite them!
Don’t listen to the haters above. Here is what I do. Get a Sharpie Marker and just ‘blot’ the tip down on the bubble sheet (Scantron is a company people, not a style of exam paper, read a fcking book!). The mark will be quick, dark, thick, and fill in the entire hole (just like she said).
Let us know how it goes. And let these haters keep sippin on their haterade. Forgive them, some of the AFers forgot their tinfoil hats.
