Can those who are blind take the CFA?

I worked at a big bank where one of the fixed income managers was blind, he had a Braille keyboard attached to his computer.
 
Those are two separate questions. I’m sure blind people can sign up for the CFA exams. However, there is no braille curriculum.
 
I’d put my money on you can write it if you’re blind. I’m almost positive the text isn’t provided in braille. But, as you know, there are many auditory lesson preps. And when it comes to test time I’m sure the CFAI would gladly lend out a proctor to be a ‘seeing-eye dog’ (so to speak) when it comes to filling in the bubbles and reading the questions.

There are braille calculators. Anyways this discussion dosen’t help the blind test takers as this website is not in braille.
 
i would commend any blind individual who can pass the CFA exams and somehow have a successful finance career. imagine a blind trader. it would be so hard to keep up with everything that is going on if you are unable to read things quickly.

I think the world record for solving a Rubik’s Cube was briefly held by a blind guy. He claimed he had an advantage over his sighted competitors because he could “see” 3 sides at once.
Back on topic, I’d be curious how, or if, the ADA applies to the exam in the US.
