Can we use pencils for the morning paper?

CFA’s instructions strongly recommends blue or black ink pen.
I would just follow their instructions, although I’d love to use pencil too.
 
I would not use pencils for the AM.
Use a black or blue pen, don’t even use erasable pens bc in transporting the exam and as much as they get handled/shipped around, pencil marks would smear and then you could have serious issues with zero points. Even a handwriting analysis can’t help you there. - Things fr Bootcamp.
 
I wouldn’t recommend you to write with pencil as you might get tired in the middle of the test.. CFAI encourages pen (blue or black) preferrably blue.. You have enough space to scratch ur answers and write again
 
make sure you think your answers out clearly for the template questions …
especially the portions where you have to circle something….

Then use the pen can be erased.
