Canadians and the CFA

It seems that there are alot of Canadians obsessed with the CFA designation.

How come none of the Canadian financial institutions have a global reputation ?
The big 5 banks are almost unknown outside of Canada.

delero...i fail to understand how you are linking the CFA designation with Canadian banks lack of global presence...there are banks in other countries too with CFA �wanna-be�s� and these banks dont have global presence...soooo whats your point?
