I wanted some guidance from the experienced people out here in the forum. I am in my late 20s, have an MBA from a mid-ranked school, worked for 2 � years in a top company�s credit card division. I am in San Francisco have done financial analytics and risk management ( in credit cards). I was looking to change career and do either equity research or asset management. What is the best way to go about it? More than a CFA, experience seems to be required. This is just an impression that I have and want to get a true picture from the experienced professionals here. Any companies that you might suggest?
