Hi Friends,
I’m a software engineer, working for an IT firm. But I wish to pursue my career in finance as a trader / quant developer.
I had a few doubts, before deciding anything :-
1. Will Ms in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University help me achieve what I want ? OR
Should I go for Master of Science (M.S.), Financial Engineering from Columbia University ?
Which would be better for me ? Any specific reason for choosing one over other ?
2. Will doing FRM Part 1 and Part 2 both would help me achieve what I want ?
Thanks.
